2. noindex 

If you don’t want to make your content public, then this tag comes in handy. You can use this tag when you want your content visible to only some persons with whom you share links to your blog. The noindex tag prevents search engines from indexing your content.

3. nofollow 

You can use nofollow tag if you don’t want crawlers to follow the external links you have provided in your posts or pages. You should note that Google treats all the outbound links as Dofollow links unless you use nofollow attribute.

4. none

You can use none tag if you want Crawlers to neither index your content nor follow external links in your blog.

5. noarchive

Google stores copy of webpages into their database to display it in SERPs in case it goes down. The noarchive tag prevents search engines from storing cached version of your website

6. nosnippet

When you perform a query to search something on Google, Google shows the results in the form of Snippets which is also known as meta description.

The nosnippet tag prevents search engines to show text snippet of your webpages.

7. noodp 

The full-form of odp is “Open Directory Project”. ODP is a man-made index of Web sites. ODP is also known as DMOZ which is a short form of “Directory Mozilla”.

You can use noodp tag to prevent your website to be listed in ODP.

8. notranslate 

You can disable the translation of your blog in different languages by using this tag.

9. noimageindex

If you have a fear that someone might steal your images, then you should use this tag to prevent Google from indexing your Images.

10. unavailable_after 

You can use this tag if you want your webpages removed from the index after a specific amount of time.

How to Enable Custom Robots Header Tags in Blogger?

Step-1

Log in to your Blogger account then go to the Blogger Dashboard. Select the blog in which you want to enable custom robots header tags if you are having more than one blog in your Blogger account.

Step-2

Click on the “Settings” then scroll down till you find “Enable custom robots header tags” and then click on the radio button as shown in the above picture to enable custom robots header tags.

Step-3
